Tomorrow's Treasures
Bags you put on the table, not the floor
For AW20, we are going back to Lulu’s roots, with a focus on hand-held, conversational evening bags that were born for special occasions. Tomorrow’s treasures, these are collectable pieces to be cherished and passed down.
The inspiration comes from objects that you might find on your grandmother’s dressing table”, says Creative Director David Hodgson. “The glamorous allure of sparkling gemstones and pearl jewels sprinkled amongst her collection of keepsakes and trinkets.” Think crystal glassware and sculpted lipstick tubes.

Lizard embossed leather is new for this season, whilst velvets and satins have been quilted with opulent hand-embroidered beads, giant pearls and diamantes. Look out for the iconic lip, too, hidden discreetly throughout the collection - for that famous Lulu second glance.
