Party Season Begins at The Goring
Last night, we kicked off the festive season in cinematic style at the glorious Goring Christmas Party. Lulu herself was on hand to switch on the lights and unveil her spectacularly whimsical Christmas trees: London Calling and In Bloom.
The night felt like a scene straight out of the beloved film, Love Actually. Guests were greeted with carol singers, iconic cue cards, and even shots of lobster bisque, a festive nod to one of the movie’s most memorable moments.
Lulu’s tree-lighting marked the start of a spectacular movie-inspired performance by The Goring team. From a playful reenactment of Peter and Juliet’s wedding, to dancing Hugh Grant Prime Ministers descending the hotel’s iconic staircase, a live brass band flash mob, and a dazzling snow cannon display, the evening was witty, stylish, and delightfully unexpected - much like the trees themselves.
