“I don’t bake but I love cakes!”, says Lulu about her latest collection inspired by the great British tradition of high tea. “It’s an indulgent treat, but is there anything more civilised than sitting down for tea and cakes?”
“I love Victoria sponge cake, and Lemon Drizzle too”, says Lulu. The former – so named because it was a favorite of Queen Victoria’s, no less - captured Lulu’s imagination and is the two-tiered centerpiece of a new ‘High Tea’ collection devoted to cakes and yummy baked goods. The Victoria Sponge bag is crafted from super soft leather and decorated with pearl-adorned strawberries, satin ‘strawberry jam’ (that doubles as the zip) and Ric Rac ‘cream’.
There is also a smaller, single-tiered jewellery box, a cake-adorned Bibi, plus a selection of sweet wallets featuring other classics like the Battenberg and Jammy Dodger – renamed the Lulu Dodger!
